“The Nested Home”
Core Idea
A space within a space: a Mahogany wood cube that functions as a cigar lounge is set inside the family living area, while a second, quieter volume—the clean kitchen—sits nearby. Both are private when needed yet stay visually and socially integrated with family life.
Integration & Performance
A Cigar lounge that has acoustic lining and a dedicated ventilation/filtration loop to keep smoke contained.
Kitchen doors slide from transparent → translucent → closed, balancing privacy with connection.
Experience
Enter the family room; the wood cube anchors the scene like an independant modern men’s club. Glimpses into the clean kitchen promise hospitality. Panels slide, lights soften, and the home shifts effortlessly from quiet reading to lively entertaining.
