“Cascade Pavilion”
Essence
A private resort folded into home: a luminous feature stair unwinds beside a water court, joining wellness, nature, and club-like hospitality. Stone, wood, porcelain and glass are reduced to essentials, then tuned with light so the zone shifts from meditative ritual by day to convivial lounge by night.
Design DNA
At the core is the Luminous Helix: a sculptural spiral stair acts as the kinetic spine of the project, turning movement into ceremony and binding wellness and social life into one loop.
The house gathers around a Water Court. Water sound and reflections, makes it the calm heart of the home.
A ridged Cascade Wall translates time into a measured flow of light and water, while Floating steps stage crossings between activity and relaxation.
A Glass Horizon dissolves boundaries so garden, pool, and club room read as one continuous social landscape.
Entertaining is anchored by the ‘Club’ area: a long, back-lit stone bar, billiard table, and lounge seating, all oriented to keep the water in view and hosting effortless, where wood paneling and a fireplace humanizes the coolness of stone and water.
At dusk the Lantern Garden takes over, candle frames, and soft lighting fold the scene into twilight ritual, shifting the atmosphere from training and recovery to conversation and celebration.
“Cascade pavillion” is a Resort-calm yet socially alive. As the client requested it , Minimal in language, generous in comfort. His home became a place to enjoy recovery and celebration, without ever leaving premises.
