“Spiralling ripples Majlis”
Essence
This istiraha voices a dual ancestry , the ordered geometry of classical Arab Mashrabiyas craftsmanship and the untamed fluidity of nature. Its identity is that of an oasis caught in a desert breeze: stable yet in motion, rooted in heritage yet open to the living garden just beyond the glass façades.
Design Drivers
Motion + Memory – Pair organic curves with inherited mashrabiya geometry.
Inside ↔ Outside – Treat the glass façade as a giant living mural; keep furniture low to preserve sight-lines.
Tactile Restraint – Let materials carry the story; limit colour to desert neutrals, woodland greens, metallic sap.
Conversational Exchange – A Majlis essence reinforced in carpet inlays, stone borders, and typical furniture layout.
Light as Water Ripples – customised massive chandelier shaped like water ripples pattern made of perforated and hammered brass and glass, casting shadow patterns that shift through the day.
