1 · Design Brief
The owners asked for a luminous social hub that combines classic comfort with the freshness of an orangery, a setting where morning coffee, evening gatherings, and children’s play could all coexist. The space had to remain formally elegant for guests yet feel effortless and uplifting for daily life.

2 · Core Concept : Garden Pavilion Living
We translated the brief into an indoor-outdoor narrative: trellis patterns, pastel botanicals, and suspended greenery turn the salon into a stylised conservatory. Classical detailing grounds the space in english tradition, while a soft, almost edible colour spectrum and contemporary finishes keep it light-hearted and current.

3 · Spatial Strategy

  • Open flow, gentle zoning: The foyer lands on warm oak parquet passageway, seperating the lounge area by a high-gloss pearly porcelain tile, signalling a change from walkways to relaxation areas without solid barriers.

  • Vertical rhythm: A central column, claded in lattice and wrapped in pocket planters, draws the eye upward, echoing garden pergolas and visually elongating the 3 m ceiling.

  • Breakfast area: Tucked beside a courtyard window, the breakfast corner borrows garden views while its plaid banquette upholsteries introduce a casual, diner /café-like note.

4 · Well-being & Sustainability

  • Real plants in self-watering planters that increases indoor air quality.

  • Low-VOC paints, FSC-certified wood, and LED lighting throughout reduce the home’s ecological footprint.

Outcome
The completed interior feels like a sun-washed pavilion. English Classic notes provide enduring elegance; mint-green lightness and living foliage infuse the rooms with optimism and calm. The result is a setting where gracious hospitality meets everyday ease, allowing the family to move seamlessly between formal entertaining and relaxed living under one verdant, gently glowing canopy.
