Private Residence — Formal Majlis & Reception
This residence was designed around the notion of spatial diplomacy , an environment that communicates formality through balance, and prestige through control. The majlis and reception areas are composed as architectural statements, where every surface and junction contributes to a calibrated spatial language.
Symmetry governs the plan. It becomes a strategy for spatial clarity, guiding flow and orientation while setting the stage for conservative opulence.
In this project, material selection objective was to articulate contrast without excess: polished marble meets matte lacquered surfaces, metallic accents punctuate linen-textured walls, and mirrored ceilings introduce calibrated depth. These elements are layered for ornament as well as to construct an atmospheric hierarchy of reflection, opacity, and weight.
The specified furniture was carefully chosen to introduce quiet opulence, selected for its refined finishes and sensory impact, reinforcing the space’s function as a setting for elevated hospitality. Each piece is placed with intention. Art and collectibles, unique decorative objects are integrated as part of the spatial rhythm concept.
The outcome is a poised environment, consciously layered and rigorously composed, where reception becomes an act of spatial choreography, and luxury is achieved through subtle order and art display.
