A Study in Organic Geometry and Spatial Play
This residence is centered around the courtyard as the anchor of the entire home. the central garden space is used to shape the flow of movement, light, and visual connection across both floors.
The concept in this project explores the relationship between form, function, and surface. The design embraces spatial fluidity , expressed through undulating ceilings, rotating partitions, and floor levels, to create different zones that are both defined and interconnected.
Natural materials and textures such as travertine and distressed wood were chosen for their aesthetic warmth and their capacity to soften the transition between architectural geometry and landscape insertions. The green wall, shaped like a hardscape in a garden, acts both as an art piece and a visual anchor, introducing organic contrast to the linear existing architecture.
This is a space where circulation is intuitive, boundaries are permeable, and function is informed by a balance between openness and enclosure. The result is an environment designed for relaxed sociability, everyday rituals, and visual continuity , a living space shaped by the logic of flow.
